The weekend will see multiple industry award winners take to the stage: BBC Radio Scotland’s Young Traditional Musician of the Year for the past three years – Claire Hastings (2015, Top Floor Taivers), Mohsen Amini (2016, Talisk), and Charlie Stewart (2017, Snuffbox); the Scots Trad Music Awards Live Act of the Year for three different years – Skerryvore (2011, 2016), and RURA (2015); and BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards Lifetime Achievement Award winner, Scottish Music Hall of Famer – Dougie MacLean OBE. Dougie has not played Killin for over 15 years, since being part of the defunct Killin Folk Festival.
